Activity Design & Research
Lara (She/Her)
Hometown: St. Albert, AB
When I was in grade 6, I was one of four girls in my grade selected to attend the WISEST CHOICES Conference at the University of Alberta, where we completed numerous STEM activities alongside students from other schools. The conference was a landmark experience in my life that ignited my passion for science at a young age. Years later, I completed a Bachelor of Science at the U of A in 2024 and am now pursuing a Bachelor of Education in secondary science education. I joined STEAMistic with the hope that the workshops I design can have a similar impact on young participants and help them see themselves as part of the future generation of STEAM leaders. In my free time, I enjoy shopping online, baking, and watching my soapy Turkish dramas.
